Togakushi Shrine has a very old history, which is the origin of the legend of Amano-Iwato, a Japanese myth. It is also considered as a sacred place for mountain worship, where the monks have been practicing in the steep mountains and caves since ancient times. On this tour, you will visit the five shrines enshrined in Togakushi and enjoy the hiking of the ancient trails and the beautiful nature of Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park.

Togakushi has already appeared as a sacred place for mountain worship in ancient documents written over 1000 years ago. Feel the history and beautiful nature of Togakushi such as old cobblestones, 800 years old cedar trees, and so on.

Togakushi is one of the most delicious soba producing areas in Japan. Each soba restaurants serve delicious soba noodles with their own ingenuity. For lunch, the guide will take you to the best soba restaurant. (For the people who have allergy to buckwheat, there are another options for lunch.

The scenery changes with the seasons
A fantastic winter landscape all covered with white snow. Lots of flowers are blooming in Spring. Summer with a pleasant cool breeze. Autumn with a spectacular view of the forest dyed in red and yellow. Please feel the beauty of each of the four seasons.
